The museum has many different sections for people to browse through and learn a little of the history of Flinders Island, the Furneaux Group and Bass Strait. The museum is a must see for visitors to the Island and for locals as well. The Furneaux Historical Research Association staff the museum with volunteers and is open from 1pm on weekends and during the week on school holidays
