The museum has a collection of photo's from the War Service Land Settlement Scheme on Flinders Island. In recent history this scheme has had one of the biggest impacts on the Island with over 30,000 hectares of land being cleared and drained around the Island. |
| This project was carried out from the early 1950s and had a large work force of men that camped at various camps around the Island. The main camp was a Memana called Summer camp the Pay Office from Summer Camp was move to its present site at the museum. |
